Last year (2025), I made a lot of deep discoveries about how my dealers are implementing, or not, The Currie Financial Model. Here’s some information that should prove helpful to your Human Resources Team. This information is inspired by one HR Executive at a large dealership that contacted me—she wanted a better understanding of The Model and how she can (and should) manage according to Model. For any of the roughly 200 dealers currently working with me, many of your managers and executives are charged with Currie Model performance results, but only a small segment seem to understand Currie metrics well enough to actually manage to the numbers. Let’s change all of that, as we continue to grow in 2026.
Now more than ever the need to recruit, interview, onboard, and develop your leaders is critical to the long-term success of your dealerships. This Currie Freebie is the first of a series of slides that will help the team understand how the metrics work to make your organization stable and thriving.
The Four Purposes of the Currie Financial Model is a larger concept that will be offered this year. As we continue to dive into the complexity of The Model, we find the gold. This short article is the first step in right-sizing the people in your company. It is targeted, and focused specifically toward achieving optimal staffing ratios, and personnel expense balancing.
