He thinks likes his clients and understands their concerns because, as a business owner, he shares them. Bob founded Currie Management Consultants because — just like many entrepreneurs — he wanted independence, control over his work life and his future, and was willing to sacrifice to achieve these goals.

When combining this with his background, Bob is able to understand and serve his clients better than most corporate consultants ever could.

Bob began his consulting career over 35 years ago, first with a consulting group and then on his own, founding Currie Management Consultants in 1980.

Bob prides himself on finding creative solutions to client problems. Whether it’s in strategic planning, organization planning, finance, marketing, international management, market analysis, profit improvement, or dealership operations, Bob consistently takes a personal interest and an active role in his clients’ success.

Besides solving CMC’s clients’ problems, Bob is always seeking new challenges to stretch and prove Currie Management Consultants’ excellence, the latest of which is to add a “technology” consultant to the staff.

michelleMichelle B. CurrieConsultant/Coach

Michelle joined Currie Management Consultants in 1987 after a career as a magazine entrepreneur. She graduated from Regis College with a B.A. in management and earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Assumption College. She also holds a certificate in cognitive behavioral therapy.

After years of management consulting, Michelle saw that Currie Management Consultants’ strengths in financial analysis, performance improvement, and project-specific consulting could be expanded and enhanced through consistent support and coaching of key staff. Major goals and changes in company cultures can’t be achieved unless the people who need to make those changes know what to change and how to change.

And after seeing that this human dimension wasn’t always addressed, Michelle began offering personal and business development coaching to CMC’s clients. She is also certified in Emotional Intelligence and the Meyers Briggs Temperament Indicator (MBTI) and their use in individual coaching, leadership and management development, and team building.

Michelle is a skilled workshop leader on topics such as situational leadership, business communications, assertiveness, team building, sales management, aftermarket management, achieving financial model results, and more.
Prior to shifting her focus to coaching, Michelle worked in Currie Management Consultants’ traditional areas, creating benchmark development programs, market analyses, pricing strategies, and management development programs.

Given her background, Michelle offers a unique mix of behavioral coaching services with achievement of financial benchmarks. So, just as she set out to do, Michelle and Currie Management Consultants can now create success in all aspects of their clients’ lives.

georgeGeorge RussellExecutive Partner.

George is a successful international operational marketing executive who brings this perspective and skill to the clients of Currie Management Consultants. He knows what leaders of industrial companies and their dealers need to analyze, plan and implement in order to be successful in new markets and with new products.

George has broad and long experience as an executive leading strategy, dealer development and sales for both farm and construction equipment. He has lived and worked outside of the US for 8 of the last 10 years and has direct experience with companies in Europe, India and Japan. He understands the requirements for success in a global economy and how to translate that to the needs of each client.

George brings a variety of views to Currie clients because of his positions with large multi-national machinery companies (International Harvester, Case and CNH Global), with his own businesses selling computers and services directly to farmers, and, currently, independently advising machinery companies as a director and strategist.

robinRobin CurrieConsultant, Director of The Currie Training Center, and Director of Marketing.

Robin joined Currie Management Consultants in 2007.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Simmons College in Boston.  At Simmons, Robin graduated from the Prince Program of Retail Management, and also studied marketing and foreign language.

Robin is certified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and is a facilitator for the Leadership Development Workshops. Robin is also involved in the facilitation of Best Practices Groups and is the creator and developer of The Currie Training Center.  Her depth of industry knowledge (agricultural equipment, material handling, power generation, compressors, construction machinery, commercial tires,  and more) along with her understanding of dealership/distributorship operations together with her passion for leadership development is a sought after combination.

She is in the process of moving the company forward by seeking additional business opportunities for Currie Management Consultants.  She is responsible for the company’s advertising and marketing programs, as well as the current Currie website.  In addition Robin is the founder and manager of The Currie Charitable Fund.

John VanDeusen – Consultant

Between 2001 and 2016, Mr. VanDeusen has been a member of the global Human Resources leadership team at Bose Corporation, where his duties included oversight of the company’s organization development, leadership development, management development, and executive succession/talent review. He also helped Bose executives develop their strategy and teams, and enhance business processes. His last assignment at Bose was to upgrade managers’ ability to hire and onboard talent, manage performance and develop employees. This program reached over 1,900 managers globally in the past two years, resulting in significant improvement in on-the-job practices.

Prior to his time at Bose, John spent ten years as a management consultant working with many private and public sector clients such as CH2M HILL Companies; Hensel Phelps Construction; Lockheed-Martin Energy Systems; M.A. Mortenson Construction; US Architect of the Capitol; City of Ft. Lauderdale; Ports of Seattle; the University of North Carolina Institute of Government; Kansas City Consensus; and Volunteers of America. As a result of this broad experience, John knows how to build and manage a working partnership that provides maximum value for clients.

Jim Henderson – Consultant

Jim is experienced in improving, redesigning and running all customer facing functions and back office processes.  He has been a business founder, a hardware/software dealer, a marketing/marketing technology expert, a top manager and a top management advisor, both individually and in groups.

For the last 10 years, Mr. Henderson has been consulting with and coaching CEOs and owners on strategies, technologies, and operations for kick-starting and achieving growth through improved sales, marketing, and service.

Jim’s effectiveness comes through his understanding of markets, customers, products, value, pipeline, and a clear view of objectives.   That effectiveness has seen industry leading growth time after time. Mr. Henderson founded a company, which earned a spot on the Inc. 500 as one of America’s fastest growing private companies, with 458% growth.

Headed by Felix Vanholsbeeck, our European operations offer all the same CMC services and tools available to our North American customers, but are presented and constructed with a distinctly European sensibility and understanding.

Felix came to Currie Management Consultants from the Commercial Tire Retreading industry. His knowledge and expertise in working with dealers and distributors of industrial products is well established.

Currie Management Consultants Brazil is located in São Paulo under the direction of Claudio Trincanato.  Claudio has 25 years of experience in the coordination of activities in different business segments and allows CMC Brazil to operate in the industrial segment, as has been done in USA, Europe and Latin America.  In addition, CMC Brazil has also identified an excellent opportunity for business in the retail industry.  The CMC Brazil team includes highly skilled professionals with deep knowledge of the store segment of the retail industry.
